Inspiring Healthcare Leaders, Accelerating Change
Welcome to the Catalysis Blog!
You may recall from science class that catalysis is the acceleration of a reaction by a catalyst. We chose that name because our goal is to inspire healthcare leaders and accelerate change throughout the healthcare industry; change to deliver higher value for patients.
To support our efforts in reaching this goal, we have decided to start a Catalysis Blog.
What is the purpose of the Catalysis blog?
Through this blog we will share about experiments, learning, and viewpoints on a variety of topics, such as continuous improvement, strategy, cultural transformation, leadership, and healthcare industry trends.
Who will you hear from?
The Catalysis staff includes senior leaders who have experience in the healthcare industry and with building lean cultures, like John Toussaint, MD, Kim Barnas, and Helen Zak. We also have executive coaches, Catalysis Healthcare Value Network Managers, and faculty members who spend their time hearing from healthcare organizations about their work and going to the gemba to see what is happening in these organizations as they work to transform their culture.
Everyone is eager to share what they learn and see in hopes that it will inspire others to continue their work in transforming healthcare.
How will the Catalysis blog work?
We encourage our readers to share and comment on our Catalysis Blog posts. We want to hear from you, even if you disagree. Please keep your comments relevant to the conversation and respectful.
I will moderate comments and will promptly remove any that are offensive, disrespectful, or irrelevant.
We encourage you to browse our website and learn more about who we are and what we offer. Feel free to contact us for more information. Please consider subscribing and engaging in the conversation about how to create healthcare value, inspire leaders, and accelerate change.
