Appleton, Wis. (Nov. 6, 2014) – The Healthcare Value Network (HVN) is pleased to announce its newest member, Hennepin County Medical Center, located in Minneapolis. The network unites healthcare leaders from approximately 60 other systems across North America that share a commitment to providing high-quality, cost-effective care through the application of principles and methods of enterprise excellence.
Hennepin County Medical Center is a major teaching hospital, trauma center, and clinic network employing more than 5,500 healthcare professionals. Operated by the Hennepin Healthcare System, the acute care hospital is recognized for excellence in emergency services, critical care medicine, and other medical specialties and services.

Established in 2009, the network was founded by the ThedaCare Center for Healthcare Value and the Lean Enterprise Institute. HVN is now an integral part of the Center and its healthcare mission.
